MAIA Festival – Rete Solchi Sperimentali

MAIA is an acronym for Musiche Altre In Abruzzo (Other Music in Abruzzo).

The project, developed as a collaboration between MAIA and the Experimental Creases (Solchi) Network of Antonello Cresti, aims to bring the region of Abruzzo back to the collectively imaginary national music maps, not with regionalist, sovreignist or sectarian intentions of any kind, but as the first step to rekindle a seemingly dormant fermentation.
